Polygon Processor - Detailed Features
A menu dialog provides a single point of access to the Netclean, Polygen and Viewflags modules.
As overshoots and undershoots are encountered in the linework, Netclean automatically corrects these misclosures if they are within the user defined search tolerance.
Polygen has an option to place a text node at the centroid of each polygon.
As errors are found in the line network, special flag elements containing an error message are placed at the each location. The Viewflags module automatically centres each selected flag in a view, making error correction simple and efficient. There are three options available for placing error flags:
Two types of optimisation are available in Polygen. Lines and linestrings are combined where possible. This reduces design file size making polygons faster to manipulate and display. In addition to the above, redundant vertices can be removed from the polygon. NB. The default setting does not optimize the design file.
Once invoked the Batch mode permits the Netclean and Polygen Modules to be run on multiple files without further user interaction.
