Ref2Model Solves Scrambled-Egg Problem Merging Ref Files

Ref2Model is an mdl application designed to package a drawing and all its reference files into a single DGN.

The traditional method, using 'Merge Into Master', suffers from the scrambled-egg problem in that the various components can never be separated again, losing track of which element came from where.

Ref2Model is an application for MicroStation^® which compiles the master file and all its reference files into separate models in a single new DGN file.
